Frequently Asked Questions

To practice as a vet in the UK, you must have an accredited degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Our vets have these credentials.

We use a 2 step procedure, in which we first give your pet a sedative, to relax and make your pet feel comfortable. Once sedated, we gently give a high dose of anaesthetic and they pass away within minutes of the injection.

There is never a time limit. Every appointment is different, with the needs of the pet and family are our priority. If you require time to discuss what will happen before the procedure, or you want private time with your pet afterwards, there is never a rush.

Pre-Euthanasia Consultation

We include a pre-euthanasia consultation that gives you all of the information you need to make the right choice. We will conduct an in-depth discussion to prepare for the procedure, discuss any concerns, and decide the best time for your family.
