Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by RIP Pets Ltd trading as RESTs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), to clients (“you” or “your”) seeking pet euthanasia and/or cremation services. By using our services, you agree to the following terms:

  • We offer at home pet euthanasia, individual and shared cremations.
  • Payment for euthanasia and cremation services must be made before your home visit appointment and before the vet leaves for the appointment.
  • Payment and completion of the consent form, confirms the booking.
  • Payment accepted – debit or credit card, bank transfer and cash.
  • We understand that circumstances may change and that you may wish to amend or cancel your appointment. Any changes must be made by phoning us - 07393 617 040.
  • Rescheduling a home visit appointment will always be accommodated where possible. However, despite every effort, we may not always be able to provide your preferred time and/or date due to other already-booked appointments.
  • Rescheduling a home visit appointment within 2 hours of the appointment, will incur a 25% fee.
  • As a busy service, any cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, will incur £250 cancellation fee.
  • All cancellations are subject to any charges incurred. Therefore, if payment is made by credit or debit card, the transaction fee is non-refundable.
  • An ink paw print and/or fur clipping can be provided free of charge. The appropriate box must be ticked on the consent form to confirm request, otherwise both/either will not be made.
  • If your pet is anxious or aggressive, we may request you muzzle them before the vet enters your home. If you do not have a muzzle, this can be provided. After sedation has been given and the vet concurs, the muzzle can be removed and the vet may exit the property. This encourages a calm environment, which allows the medication to be most effective.
  • We make every effort to be on time but due to traffic, we may be delayed. If this occurs, we will update you.
  • The safety of the vet and workers are our priority. If they feel unsafe at the property (including verbal abuse and inappropriate behaviour) we reserve the right for them to leave the property. If this occurs, no refund will be payable.
  • The vet is insured, however as they are a guest in your home, you are responsible for any accidents or injuries involving the vet whilst at your property.
  • If you choose Private Cremation, your pets ashes will be delivered to your home at a date and time agreed between us and yourself.
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of our services only.
  • GDPR – Your details are collected solely for use in the process of our business and will never be disclosed without your permission. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
  • We do not operate a 24 hour service and we do not provide an emergency out of hours service. In case of emergency, please contact your registered veterinary practice. If they are unreachable, please contact Vets Now – 01772 875 031.
  • By booking our service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
